Frequently asked questions
How do I know it is safe to buy a puppy or kitten through EuroPaws?
You sign a contract with the brand, not with a stranger. You pay the brand, the breeder is paid only after hand-over, every breeder has been visited by us, and you can see the parents and the pet on a live video call before you reserve. If the pet cannot travel, every amount is refunded.
Can I meet the breeder or visit the pet before buying?
Yes. We arrange a video call with the breeder at a time that suits you, and visits in person are welcome for our breeders in Montenegro, Serbia and Hungary.
How does the 50% deposit work?
After the video call you receive a reservation agreement. The 50% deposit holds the pet for you and is refunded in full if the pet cannot travel. The balance is due before departure. Payments are made to the brand by bank transfer or card link, never on this site.
When is a puppy or kitten ready to leave its mother?
Puppies at 12 weeks, kittens at 14 weeks, after the second vaccination and the rabies vaccination. For some destinations the rabies waiting period adds time; your advisor tells you the exact date before you reserve.
How is my pet delivered?
By road with one of our pet nannies across the Balkans and the EU, or in the cabin of a flight with a nanny for the UK, the Gulf, North America and Asia. Never in cargo. You receive the itinerary and photos on the way and meet the nanny at your door or at the arrival airport.
What does delivery cost?
From 150 EUR by road within the Balkans to about 1,200 EUR for an in-cabin flight to the Gulf or North America. The estimate is shown on each pet page when you pick your country, and your advisor confirms it before you reserve.
Which documents come with the pet?
A pedigree (FCI for dogs; FIFe, WCF or TICA for cats), EU pet passport, ISO microchip, vaccination record, deworming record, fit-to-travel certificate and the parents' health test results.
Will my puppy or kitten be house trained?
Kittens arrive already using the litter box. Puppies have started house training and crate training; most finish it in the first two weeks with you.
Can I buy with breeding rights?
Companion pets are sold without breeding rights and kittens are neutered before travel. Breeding rights for registered breeders are a separate agreement with the breeder; ask your advisor.
What if the pet is healthy but not the right fit for my home?
Tell us within 14 days. We help you rehome the pet through our waiting list and refund the pet price minus delivery once a new family has taken over. We never want a pet to end up in a shelter.
Do you fly flat-faced breeds?
Only in the cabin with a nanny or by road. We do not send any pet in cargo and no flat-faced breed on a flight longer than six hours.
What should I prepare at home?
A quiet room, a bed, food and water bowls, the food we tell you the pet is used to, a crate or carrier, a litter box for kittens and a vet appointment within the first week. Our settling-in guide covers it step by step.
